Start of Fall
What a busy time of year that has been for us! Terry started school about 2 weeks ago and he is in the 3 year old preschool class with a wonderful teacher and great friends! Seriously, his teacher is amazing! I am so pleased with her activities, goals and fun home projects and it is just the start of the school year. Terry loves going to school and learning about letters, numbers, and Jesus! The above is a picture of him on his first day of school and of RG at 14 months.
Getting ready to go to school!
Already working hard!
While Terry is in school RG and I go to a music class along with babies her age and sing songs, dance and play! It really is fun and her little personality really comes out! When Terry and I did this class we wanted me to hold him while we dance, he sat in my lap but not this little one--she is all over the place! She wants to get her shoes back on, look in everyones diaper bags, find the hidden instruments under the table and tell everyone hello! It is more like a good cardio workout chasing her around! ha! But we both look forward to it every week!
Along with some nice cool weather our Football season has started! We have had one home game which was a win and one away which we lost:( But, we are looking forward to playing UNC this weekend and dominating! We had our Pirate Pig pickin last weekend and while it was a good turn out, the food was awesome, and got to visit with friends I am always relieved when its over! I know that is bad but it takes a lot to prepare to open your home to 50 plus people. Dont get me wrong, I love to entertain, but it is always nice to have the down time afterwards. Next year we plan on having it during the last away game so hopefully it will be a little cooler. All in all, it was a GREAT time and a lot of my family got to come, including my dad, stepmom, both brothers, aunt, and grandparents! So that made it extra special to be able to spend some time with them---then send them back home!!:)
I am now in the midst of de-cluterring my home...yes, once again. My friend, Amber, has offered her home to girls in playgroup to have a baby/kid yard sale. So I am now going through all of Terry and RG's clothes to sell and make some more room for fall clothes.
Today I started a bible study at church called MotherWise. It looks to be a very fun and rewarding study that I will go to every week. Today the leaders did intros and we looked through our book and watch a video. I really am excited about meeting other women and praying for them and their families. It is nice to know that other mothers have the same struggles and obstacles in their lives so that I can relate to them. I can't wait to see what the Lord is going to reveal to me about being a mother and wife.
RG almost lasted the whole 2 hours...they had to come get me with only 15 minutes of class left--I thought that was pretty good for her!
On top of that, I look around my neighborhood and everyone has their fall flags, wreaths, and pumpkins out! I am way behind! I think I might have to put that off till after we get back from our beach trip in October. Anyways, lots going on at the Keith house and lots to look forward to as we wind down this wonderful year of 2009!
