Playgroup Christmas Party

We had our annual Christmas party with our playgroup this year. We ended up having it at some of the girl's church which was awesome because we had so much room for the kids to play, eat, run around, and open presents. Our group has grown so much that it is hard to have an event where everyone comes at one of our houses.

There was lots of food and Kim read a story about the first Christmas. Every year the kids get a secret santa to get a gift for and so we opened our presents. Terry got a great ABC train puzzle and lace and trace farm from Anna Belle. Rainey Grace got a cool ball that lights up and plays music from Madalynn. They both really loved their gifts and Terry really liked picking out his gifts for his friends too! We had a great time with our friends and it really started out the Christmas season with lots of fun events for us!

I didn't take any pictures but later on that week our playgroup went to the local retirement home in Greenville. Kim's Aunt works in the Memory Lane part of the home and all the kids made cards and we went to visit. It was really awesome to see the looks on those people's faces watching all of the kids playing, laughing and they loved getting the homemade cards. We sang some Christmas songs and Happy Birthday to Jesus. It was a great chance to teach Terry about serving others and taking time to make others happy!
