Thanksgiving morning the kids and I went to my grandparents house for lunch. It was the first time we had been back since my mom passed away and it was a little emotional but it was great to see them and they always love seeing the kids. I am so mad though because I forgot my camera! I will have to get some shots of them at Christmas. We enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal and my brothers and Terry played outside and had fun checking out the pond behind their house.
That afternoon we all headed to my Dad's house for an early Thanksgiving dinner. My Dad always puts on a feast for our family and close friends. He had a house full! It was Taylor, me, the kids, my Dad, Holly, Aunt Di, Me maw, Paw paw, Taylor's mom and dad, Doug, Dow and his girlfriend Angela, and some close friends that may as well be family which included another 4 adults and 2 kids! I feel so lucky that Taylor and my family live so close and get along well so that we can spend holidays together. I wish I had taken more pictures but this is all I have and I will try and do better at Christmas...

The next day on Friday we made our way to Taylor's Uncle Wally and Aunt Cindy's farm, Deer Run Farm in Virginia. It was a great time to catch up! Many of the guys went fishing and/or hunting and really enjoyed the beautiful place they have. Terry loved going on the golf cart and looking for deer. Cindy, as usual, had an awesome lunch and we once again were stuffed! We hated to leave but from there we made our 3 hour trek back home.

Thanksgiving this year was a wonderful time spent with family and friends. We are so thankful for all of our family, friends and blessings in our lives!
