I recently made the wreath below for the summer time and it was so much cheaper than buying an already made one. I really want to make a feather wreath for my dining room. I know it sounds weird but I saw it on another blog and it looks so fab! Maybe that will be my next crafty project:)
The second project I did was to do something with my half bath downstairs. My friend gave me this old window and my plan was to put it in my kitchen and hang a wreath on it but I decided to do something else. I wanted to do a beachy theme in the bathroom. We love the water...whether it is the ocean, river or lake. So, I figured I would go with it! I had to sand and paint the window frame. Then added the ribbon and seashells. ( I heart a glue gun) After that was done I wanted to add something else below the frame so I searched on one of my favorite sites, etsy, and found this awesome quote that goes on the wall. I loved it! It came in the mail very quickly and it was super easy to put on the wall. Overall I am so pleased with how it turned out. I just need to add some beachy prints to the wall beside the sink which I am on the look out for. I hope to find something I like on our family beach trip in October. So, let me know what you think??
