As we were leaving there was a man making homemade ice cream on a hit and miss engine. (pic below) We make homemade icecream at home with a hand crank icecream maker so we had to try it! It was pretty good...not as good as ours though! Before we left we took a break and sat and enjoyed our chocolate homemade icecream.
After that we went to Wal-mart to stock up on groceries and some other things. Taylor had to get some things to change his oil and I got some crafty things to make my own wreath..it ended up pretty good! I will post pics later:)
We then went to our favorite Mexican restaurant, Los Charros, and enjoyed our "usuals". After lunch was naptime, for me and the kids!
We ended our night at church with a cookout with Taylor's softball team. It was really nice to meet the team and their wives. The food was really yummy too! Terry had a blast playing with some of the other kids. He had a fit to go over to our old church building, which he refers to as the "diamond church". We recently moved to a new facility which is across the street. I think he misses his old classroom.
We got home late and bathed the kids, put RG to bed and we all played some "b-ball", as Terry calls it. Taylor recently put up a basketball goal and we find ourselves playing with Terry almost every night...he loves it!
We had a great day today and it has been the first weekend in a while we did not have any set plans and could do whatever, whenever! It was great to spend time with Taylor, too! This summer is flying by and I am just trying to soak up every minute with my family in this beautiful weather and this sweet season of our lives.

What a sweet post, Shelley. Looks like you all enjoyed a family fun weekend making memories!
Terry has the right idea...out of a bunch of fruits and veggies...always pick the cookies! My kind of lil' man! Love weekends with no plans! Miss you guys!
It's so sweet to hear what a fun and relaxing weekend looks like for you . . . very similar to ours! We love it when we can spend the day with Craig as well - even if it's just running errands and making memories along the way. You are such a sweet wife and mother. Your family is blessed and so am I as a friend:)
