Washington DC

Back in November Taylor and I took Terry to Washington for a mini vacay. We took Taylor's co-worker and our good friend, Nancy, to stay with her daughter (Nancy jr.) who has cancer. Taylor had driven her up there and back in one day before this and decided it was too long of a trip to do in one day. We were going to take both kids but Mimi graciously offered to keep sweet Rainey Grace so that we could go with Terry. It was sooo much fun! I had never been before and the last time Taylor went he was much younger. We went to tons of museums, ate out, stayed up late and took no naps! Terry loved all of that:) We had so much fun spending time with just him and he enjoyed it too! I even got to see one of my good friends, Breezie, while we were there. She lives there and it was so good to catch up and hang out.
Please keep Nancy in your prayers. She has decided to stop chemo treatments and yesterday hospice was called in. Her family from all over are there with her. Please pray for peace for her as well as her two young children.
