A year ago this month I started weight watchers and lost almost 20 pounds! Throughout the holiday season a little bit of that crept back! It could not have been the oreos, cakes, and pies I was eating! No Way!
Anyways, started back last week and I am proud to say I lost 2.4 pounds last week! I am soooo happy! I have some friends that are going to the meetings, sharing recipes, and just there for encouragement which helps soo much! These friends and I are also training for a 5K in March!!! I have NEVER been a runner...you can ask anyone! I have always wanted to be able to run for long distances but I guess never really tried that hard and always gave up. My friends and I are doing this training called Couch to 5K. We train 3 times a week and so far it has been great! We are keeping up and feel great after each session! We are also pushing our kids while we do it which is extra hard!

So check back with me as I update our "running journey" and hopefully weight loss!

Hey girlie! That is awesome. Ivie just ran a marathon! Isn't that nuts? She started with the couch to 5k training and kept going!

Get it Shelley! Have fun training. As we both know, accountability (with girlfriends) makes it easier to exercise faithfully. LOVE the training outline.
