Soooooo first things first, I lost 1.6 (magic number) this past week and was sooo happy! I was afraid that I hadn't lost any because I had already celebrated early for my birthday at Sappari's--I just can't say no! Needless to say all that running and being really good the rest of the week paid off. My WW companions did really well too! Good job M and A!
This week we started week 4 of the couch to 5K training. Let me just tell you..it was h.a.r.d. I was sick on top of it but it was intervals of 3 and 5 minutes of straight running and 90 sec walking in between. I am so proud of myself for actually running the whole time and completing day one! I hope I can keep up the stamina for the rest of the week. It is awesome to think that I ran 16 minutes! WOW! You can ask any of my highschool friends...running was not my forte! I always wished I could run and envied those who just ran and ran and RAN!
Let me just tell you that I could not do this training with out my friends! They are the bomb! They offer so much support and advice! I mean it takes a real friend that when you are about to stop becuase you don't think you can take another step..yells BATHING SUIT!!! I just think about that and keep going lol! But for real I am so excited about getting in shape and accomplishing this goal of completing a 5k!
In other news, the Keith household has been a little under the weather...RG has double ear infection and I have a nasty cold that I can NOT wait to get rid of! Terry is doing pretty well..just has a little cough and runny nose but is his usual self. I have to share something that he said today while we were leaving church from a meeting I had. Amber was watching him while I went to the bathroom and he had on his favorite cowboy boots and showing her how fast he can run and a lady walked by and said, "How can you run so fast in those cowboy boots?" Terry answered, "Jesus helps me!" How sweet is that! We are constantly telling him that through Jesus anything is possible! (Even running fast in boots:) I love that little guy!

Terry is so precious!!!!! I love little boys:)

I have to say, I laughed out loud as I pictured "BATHING SUIT" being yelled out in an effort to motivate.
