Haven't posted in a while on an update on Rainey Grace and what she's up to. She is now 20 months old and has been doing a lot!
She weighs probably near 25 pounds and still likes to eat! She has gotten picky about some things but when she find something she likes she eats a LOT of it. She is sleeping about 12 hours at night and takes from 30 minutes to an hour nap a day. She loves to play with her baby dolls, my little ponies, tea party and read books.
Right now she has such a good mix of girly girl but still likes to get dirty when it matters most! She reminds me a lot of myself when I was young--4 wheelers by day and pageants by night hehe! She loves to have her hair fixed and her nails painted! I am in heaven! Her new thing now is putting on her tutu and running around in it and dancing--too cute! She also loves to sing...whether it be at home, in her crib, in the tub or in the car. She will just start singing in her sweet little voice.
Her vocabulary and communication has really taken off! She says a lot! She repeats most everything we ask her and says 2 and 3 word sentences. She loves to practice her flashcards and pointing to different objects in books. She melts my heart every night when I put her down for bed and I tell her I love her and she says right back, "I love you mama." followed by a giggle:) Oh how I love that! She also refers to herself as "sissy"...when you ask her what her name is that is what she says. I am trying to call her more by her real name but sissy has just stuck!
Terry and Rainey Grace already have such a special relationship. They were apart for about 3 days earlier this month and missed each other so much! When we got them back together they couldn't stop hugging and just running and laughing together. Believe me, they definitely have their sibling moments but I am so thankful that they love to play, share and even miss one another!
Yesterday was the first time I had to put her in timeout:( She was hitting Terry and wouldn't stop so it was time. It was so hard but she actually stayed there for the whole minute! She was of course screaming crying the whole time and the next time when she did it and I told her she would go to timeout she stood there with her bottom lip quivering. It was so sad:(
In just 4 short months my sweet girl will be 2! I guess I won't be able to call her "the baby" anymore:( She will always be that to me though!

That is so sweet about saying I love you! She may be the next American Idol and I know you are just in girliy-girl heaven with your little priss pot! :)
I love that she is into nail painting. She is soooo stinking cute. I have also heard you belt out a song or two over the years! I think she gets that from you!!
She's a doll baby that's for sure! We love our little RG and it brings a little tear to my eye that she is almost 2. That sounds so big! :)But it sure is fun watching her grow!
