Snow days/My birthday

Last weekend we had so much fun playing in the snow! We would go out for about 20 minutes at a time--thats all Terry could last before he just got too cold! Daddy was smart and went on the hunt to find some sleds for us to play on. They were great! Terry and Rainey Grace loved sliding down the hill in our backyard and being pulled around. We couldn't get out most of the weekend so we spent a lot of time inside playing board games, go fish, tea party, watching movies and drinking hot chocolate. (When I was fixing it one time Terry says, "you know, another name for hot chocolate is hot cocoa"...haha) Terry told Taylor he really wanted a snowman so on Sunday during naptime Taylor got out his shovel and spent about 1.5 hours and went through 3 pairs of gloves building that snowman. He even got real creative making the buttons, mouth and other parts of the snowman. What a treat for Terry! All in all the snow was fun but I guess I am a true southern girl and just love my warm summer days by the water--so I am dreaming of those days to come soon!

This past Monday was my 28th birthday! My day started with getting to sleep in till 8 am! My sweet husband stayed home from work a couple hours to get the kids breakfast, change diapers, and make some birthday cards for me:) Both kids made their own sweet cards and I loved them! Taylor and the kids got me some new running shoes which are awesome! Didn't realize what a difference they would make!
That day we stayed in our pajamas till lunch and my friend Emily came by with some lunch (so sweet!) and her little boy and Terry got to play for a little while.
We had our babysitter, Chelsea, come a little early that evening so we could go to the cell phone store. (mine had died the day before) By the way, I just have to say how much I LOVE our sitter. When she got there both kids ran to her and RG put her arms up for her to hold her...she even says "Chelsea"--so sweet! As a mom it makes me feel great to know that my kids love who is taking care of them and I know how much fun they have together. Anyways, we went to the cell phone store and I couldnt decide which phone to get. We went back the next day and I got a blackberry curve--which I LOVE!
So after the store we went to our favorite Tokyo and had sushi and hibachi food...it was super yummy! We then went to get a cookies n cream milkshake from Chickfila! My favorite!
I had a wonderful birthday! I thank God every day for this awesome life I have, for my caring and hardworking husband and my smart and healthy kids! I am so blessed with awesome friends and family who support me in everything I do!

1 Chronicles 16:34 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
