Hello!

Well I guess it is about time for me to start my own blog! It is a great way for family and friends to keep up on what is going on with our family. Bear with me because I am not the best writer and I will try and keep it updated!

I guess I should start by introducing our family:

This is Taylor and we got married in July of 2004. I won't go into all the mushy stuff but he is the best husband and dad and I am so thankful for every day we have together.

He loves to hunt, fish and cheer on our alma mater the East Carolina Pirates. He has a talent for renovating old houses and loves to spend time with his family.

This is me, Shelley. I am a stay at home mom to my two precious children, Terry and Rainey Grace. I taught Kindergarten before having Terry which was a lot of fun. I love to hang out with my friends, try out new recipes, walk and read when I have time. I enjoy going home to see our families and wish we lived closer to them at times.

This is our son Terry. He is 2 years old and is a ball of energy. He amazes us everyday with what he is learning at home and at school. He is a wonderful big brother and loves his "sissy". Terry likes to play outside, hang out with dad and he is a great helper to mom!

This is our daughter Rainey Grace. She is almost 5 months old and is such a sweet girl. She is the apple of her daddy's eye and makes my heart melt every time I look at her. Rainey likes to smile at her brother, take baths, and being held. Our children are such a blessing and we strive everyday to show them God's love and to teach them to be kind and respectful to others.

Well that about sums it up. Those who are reading this probably don't need these intros but it was fun nonetheless. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy this little glimpse into our lives.
