Anyways, she had her paci a couple of months longer than Terry had his and asked for it constantly. We just had to quit, cold turkey! Well, the first night she only cried for about 45 minutes and the next night FIVE minutes! She still cries about 15 minutes for naptime and asks for it a couple times...especially in the car.
She was actually very willing to put them all in a bag and throw them in the trash. I kept telling her what a big girl she was and I was so proud! The next day I decided to do something a little special for her and that was go to the Wacky Bear store and she got to pick out an animal to put her most favorite paci in:)
She went with the horse and bravely put in her little pink paci and named her horse "paci horsie". It was a lot of fun and we both really enjoyed that special time. She also loves The Chipmunks so we got the Squequel movie and watched it later that afternoon for another special treat.
I feel like this is such a huge accomplishment for me and her! :) She actually seems to be in a better mood and happier with out it...and so am I! I don't have to remember one everywhere we go and be worried if we don't have one. I am so proud of her and impressed with her to see how flexible she really is! Way to go Sissy!
