Hello 2nd trimester....wow, that went by fast!

Today I am exactly 14 weeks! I can not believe it! Even with being sick it went by so fast and I am ashamed that this is the first belly pic I have taken:( I have started a journal (which I didnt do with T and RG until after they were born). That way I write down all the stats at each dr. appt and how I am feeling each week!

I am feeling GREAT now! I dont even feel pregnant...other than the little flutters and that I can not exercise like before. I am def showing earlier and more than the first 2...but I guess that can be expected. Went to the doctor at 12 weeks and heard the baby's heartbeat. It was in the 160's. Rainey Grace went to the dr with me and she was so excited to be involved! I will go again next week at 15 weeks and will take Terry. And the next appt will be my ultrasound! We are still planning on not finding out the sex.

Right now at 14 weeks the baby is abotu 3 1/2 inches and 1 1/2 ounces--the size of a lemon. The baby can now squint, frown, grimace, pee, and possibly suck his thumb! Thanks to brain impulses, his facial muscles are getting a workout as his tiny features form one expression after another. His kidneys are producing urine, which he releases into the amniotic fluid around him — a process he'll keep up until birth. He can grasp, too, and if you're having an ultrasound now, you may even catch him sucking his thumb. (thanks babycenter:)

Wow! It is so amazing what is taking place in my body! What a blessing!

Terry and Rainey Grace are doing great too! Terry recently learned how to ride his bike with no training wheels, read a new book at school (Dan Ran), and he asks every day when will it be summer?? He is so looking forward to going to the pool, playing outside and going to the lake. Rainey Grace is still my little princess and loves to be with mommy. She can count to 12, is learning to identify her name, loves her class and friends and really enjoys to play with makeup and dress up.

Taylor recently started a new job:) He LOVES it! He is a senior right of way agent for a company called Telics out of Charlotte. He was working from home for a few weeks but closed on his new office about a week ago. The kids and I love to go visit him at the office. Even though he will be travelling a lot more and maybe even over night this is a great step in his career and for our family. I am so proud of him!
