Birthday/wreath making party all in one!

One of my sweet friends, Kristen, celebrated her birthday a week ago and wanted to have a birthday party. But not just any party--a craft night/birthday party! How fun and different! Our other friend, Courtney, makes these awesome mesh wreaths. You have probably seen these type at Pottery for around 40-80 dollars! It was so fun (and a little time consuming) to find the perfect colors, ribbons, and decor for the wreath but it was totally worth it because they are SOO cute!

I decided to do a fall themed wreath and it turned out really great! You can do just about any theme or holiday with these wreaths. I really want to do an ECU one next.

Courtney gave us a great tutorial and step by step on how to make them and we all went to work! It was so fun to get together with this group to talk, share, eat cake and create something! Kristen is a dear friend and I know God put her in my life for a reason! I have learned and grown so much as a mom and in my faith from her and I am so thankful! Happy birthday Kristen! Thanks for including me in your special celebration!
