The Last First Day of Preschool

Terry started his 4 year old preschool last week and I realized that next year his first day would be in Kindergarten! What?! I really can't believe it! I look at these pictures of my baby boy and it just amazes me how time really does fly! We are so incredibly blessed with this child I can not even describe it. He is truly a joy and teaches us so much about life and love each day!
I was more emotional about his first day than Rainey Grace's. I think because I know that next year he will be in real school and that is so hard to imagine! I was a little worried about him going to his new school and if he would be ok or not want me to leave. Just the day before he was crying about never seeing his friends and I told him he would at school. But he said he wanted ALL of his friends from Mrs. Siegel's class at his new school. He and his group of friends have been together at school for 3 years! So I am sure it is a shock going in and only knowing one person.
I was very surprised when we walked in he went up to his teacher, said hello, and she showed him to his table to do morning work. I took a couple of pictures and we said our goodbyes and he was fine! I was so relieved!
When we picked him up he was so excited about what a fun day he had and how he earned something out of the treasure box. I really like his teacher and look forward to seeing him grow and learn this year! SO proud of our little man!

Rainey and I did enjoy that morning going to the gym, then counteracted with a trip to Krispy Kreme, and storytime at the library:)
