Rainey Grace had her 9 month appointment this morning and it went well. She was 15.9 pounds and 26 inches long. She is very small on the percentiles however her doctor is not concerned. She is on target with all of her milestones and he feels like she will have a growth spurt soon with eating more solids. Terry was also small in his percentiles and is now above average for his height and weight. You would not think she would be so small though because she eats soo much! Her favorite foods now are yobaby yogurt, bananas and sweet potatoes. Oh and she LOVES puffs!
She is crawling even faster now and is pulling up and starting to cruise a little. She can wave, do "so big", high five, copy sounds we make (ie: mamama, dadada, bububu) and definetly has her own little personality. If you take something away from her that she not supposed to have or when the food runs out she throws a mini-fit with crying and tears. :( She has a special place for her brother and daddy. She loves playing with Terry by crawling around together, playing peek a boo, and playing in the bathtub. She lights up when daddy comes home and cries if he doesnt talk to her right away and pick her up. It really melts my heart.
We love our little girl and can't believe we are only 3 short months from her one year birthday!
